The router should have these things on it

PPP
ADSL

1
WLAN
SYS
PWR

In the 4321 area if one of these is flashing our internet is being used as of having my own router im using 2 and 2 is flashing :)

If you go into your router there is an area where it has logs. In those logs you can see who has been connected to it. You can also look under the DHCP pool (DHCP gives out IP addresses to clients that are connected to the router) so you'll see a list of any PC that has an IP address given to them from your router.

Since you have security enabled I assume you know how to get into the router but if not...

Click START - RUN and then type CMD and then click OK. You'll get a black window with a command prompt. In there type "ipconfig" and hit enter. You will be given back your IP address, the subnet mask, and your default gateway. The default gateway is the IP address of your router. So assuming it's "192.168.1.1" - you would then open a web browser and go to "http://192.168.1.1". Enter your username and password and then you're in.

Just make sure you have a good password for getting into your router - not the default one it comes set with since those are pretty well known or can easily be looked up online. Otherwise someone could go into it and erase the logs after they get done using it so you don't see anything.

No - it cannot be completely secured. You are right to want to know if it has been used.

You will need to turn on the IP log options and look at the activity. This is usually protocol (UDP or TCP) based, and can also be port number based (80 for normal HTML).

Well, if it's secured then you're golden... unless they have your password or something.
