While it is true that all the US presidents were born on US soil and they will be in the future because of an amendment to the constitution that now requires the Pres and VP to be born citizens, however, in the early days of the United States the first few presidents had been British subjects as they were born in the "colonies". They were born on US soil, but back then there was no such thing as the USA.

A man born in England has never been president of the United States. All of our presidents have been born in the states. Nor will an Englishman ever be president. Our Constitution states that the president must be a born citizen of the country.

You have to be a natural born United States citizen to even run for the office of president of the United States.

No. The US Constitution only allows natural born citizens to become President of the United States. The only President to not be born on American soil was Martin Van Buren who was born at sea. This excludes Governor Schwarzenegger (spelling?) but includes Senator McCain (born in Panama as a US military dependent).
