Okay, personal question kind of. Did any of you have a hard time going to the bathroom?? ( just peeing ) im 30 weeks, and it hurts a lot, not vaginally, but lower belly wise. It hurts to the point that i will make a moaning sound, hold my breathe or grab on to something. It makes me not want to go but obviously i have to!! The pain is in my lower stomache right in the middle. I know i don't have a UTI because i just got tested last week for one, and this has been going on for about a week and a half... any with info?

It could be that your bladder is getting too full, and the feeling of the muscles after they've let go, and your bladder going back to normal afterwards hurts. I don't wake up at all at night to pee and find that i'm in pain sometimes in the morning. How often are you going? Maybe it's not often enough. Remember that your bladder is under a lot more pressure than normal, so there's less capacity. Try going more often (at least once every 2 hours) even if you don't have the urge, just to make sure. Hopefully that helps and it's not one of those things that you "just have to deal with" until the baby changes position!! And lean forward when you go to help make sure you get everything out. If at any point you know you have to go and just can't tho, that's a sign to call the doc, there might be a problem.

I think i know what u're talking about. I try not to hold in my pee but if im in the car or something where I can't get to a bathroom right then and there, my stomach would hurt when i do pee.. kinda like how u explained it. I'm 36 weeks and i been experiencing this since about that time, too. I think one of the worst ones was at work. When I finally got a chance to get to the toilet my stomach started cramping or something as soon as i started peeing. I thought for a moment I was having a minor contraction on the toilet! It was so sore! But it subsides after a while. But this barely happens. Maybe I should have mentioned it to my doctor, but I didn't yet. If it's that bad for you, I think you should bring it up at your next appointment. Otherwise, I don't really think anything would be seriously wrong. So long as u're not bleeding AT ALL and at least u're able to pee, I think you'll be alright.

Sounds like the baby has dropped lower and pushing painfully on your bladder. I couldn't go! I would have too and then NOTHING. If your finding that you can't go at any point, go to the doctor. If the pain gets worse or doesn't go away, go to the doctor. Try laying down first then going...it was something my doctor suggested to me. Good luck!!!

I had that.... i was told my baby is pushing down trying to get into birthing position. He's sitting on nerves really making it painful to walk and use the bathroom. I used to pant to get through the pain of peeing... it hurt so bad but i'll get better when your baby drops. mine did. i don't have pain but it takes alittle while longer to empty my bladder. I hope you don't have to be in pain much more longer. Good luck take care!

Could be a kidney infection too. Did they test for that? It shouldn't hurt to pee, you should just be peeing often. Make sure you are drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day.
