why wont my limewire connect to the network?

i had computer issues and i had limewire then well i had a guy fix it and he totally wiped it clean. well i downloaded and reinstalled limewire again and havent been able to use it since.HEEEELLP!

I had a similar experience .... I changed to "Frostwire" ... very similar to Limewire and it seems to work where Limewire refused to

Your firewall is probably configured strictly. Set it to allow limewire, then try again.
