By Valentine's Day, we will have been going out for a little over 3 months. I am in need of an Age-Appropriate gift, we are 14. Jewlery is not totally out of the question, as for Christmas, I gave her a sterling silver heart locket, with a diamon accent, with both our pictures inside. I need some ideas to work with going in eary to this.

You can probably get some affordable flowers at the local grocery store. Chocolate is always appreciated. How about some movie tickets, a DVD, or take her out to her favorite restaurant? She might like a cashmere scarf, a pair of gloves, or some fuzzy socks. Okay, she may not like the socks as a Valentine's Day gift. Stick with the chocolate or flowers. You've only been together 3 months. A toe ring? Earrings? a combination of flowers an earrings? Music?

That was a good Christmas gift! But at the same time you don't wanna freak her out (I know it is usually the opposite but it could happen) so be careful on going overboard, as in you don't want to make her feel uncomfortable by you spending more $ on her than she did you, etc. As for Valentine's day, given that you gave her such a good tangible gift for Christmas, you should take this opportunity to DO something for her rather than buy her something. Tell her you'll take care of everything and cook her dinner or if that's not possible suprise her and wash her favorite old sneakers or something (okay that one's kinda odd but you never know). Anyhow, doing something FOR her would be much more memorable than buying her another expensive gift. (card, single red rose should be included in any plan however!!) Hope this helps!

OMG!!!!!!! your 14....me too. 3 months, wow you guys must be great. You could give her a bouquet of flowers but with the most exquisit smells and look. Red, white, pink..you know something like that. Then in one of the petals put some money. Then when you give it to her...you'll be like 'oh look, there's something stuck in here.' Then give her the money. Believe me...next to diamonds a girls' best friend is money! Or you could give her a bracelet that has a heart and your name and her's carved into it. I've always wanted one of those...they are sooo cute!

Hope this helps...and Good Luck

Treat your girl to a great, thorough foot massage - especially after she's had a hard day at school or a long day at work. Offer to pull off her shoes/boots as soon as she's finished work/school and get to work. Your girl will most likely love it!!!

Do you kids still buy those double heart rings? Aww I had one of those in HS.

If not, how about a big stuffed animal with a sterling silver bracelet around it's wrist for her to wear?

Buy her something that symbolises your togetherness, like a keyring that is a broken heart that fits together.

I just bought a boy and girl keyring set for my boyfriend online. Its real cute i think he'll like it.

I'm not sure how much you have to spend, but i think there is another one available? Try http://www.21stcenturyicons.net and see what you can find.
