Draw your own hand, Practice makes perfect. Learn hand anatomy (bones and muscles) -it makes this process a lot easier. Start with simple gesture lines to lay out the position of the hand, and try to get the proportions correct. Start with line drawings. Then for quick sketches use cross hatching shading, then work up to normal shading once you can get the hand/fingers looking good and in proportion. Again, practice makes perfect If you sketch a hand 30 times and really try hard, and get everything correct and draw exactly what you see, you will train your drawing hand to work with your eye. If you compare your first drawing to the 30th you will see a BIG improvement.

Yes, hands are by far the hardest for any level of artist to draw. You first start by practicing, it's a good idea to fill up a small sketchbook with drawings of your own hands. You will get better only by practice and persistence. Also, if you go to most art supply stores, they should have a wooden model of a hand, just like they have a minature body to use as a figure. Good luck!

If you ask any artist, they'll tell you. The hardest thing to draw on the human body is the hands, because there's so many lines, curves, and textures. It requires lots of patience, time, and effort so if your willing, I'm sure Barne's & Noble have books on how to draw them, I personally would check it out online. I don't have any information off hand because I, of course, am impatient. ~Good Luck

first of all you should see a artistic anatomy book/web site to get an idea of what goes on under the skin, like bones and joints......after you should try to draw the hand using geometric shapes (art anatomy book by Gottfried Bames should help).....and exercise by drawing your hand ,starting with the big shapes like the palm, and after adding the fingers...

well four fingers would be faster =) lol.
seriuosly theres no easy way, i even struggle with them but let me tell you a texture secret of mine that distracts from mistakes. most folders have this like skin/leather finish on them you have to look for the right one, take a blank piece of prnter paper an rub your pencil over then until you see a nice skin looking texture , then on anouther piece of paper draw you hand an place it over the "skin" texture that most fits the area of hand an rub it into your hand drawing , boom instant texture

A lot of good advice thus far.
May I add that you pay particular attention to the joints and how the nails look.
Maybe sculpt some from clay as a lateral approach????
good luck.
Remember everything is "light and Shade"!!!
