Ha! They should:
help you clean
give you foot massages
rub lotion on your back
make you dinner
tell you how beautiful you are
rub your back when you can't fall asleep
leave at any given moment to get the food your craving
etc.
However, most women will find husbands aren't that perfect. :)
Seriously though, if you sign up for week by week updates from American Pregnancy.com they will send you a newsletter telling you how your body is changing, how your baby is growing, and tips for your partner.
Here's an example from mine:

(38 weeks pregnant)

"Tips for mom’s partner:

Have you packed your bag for the hospital? If not, you might want to go ahead and get that taken care of, because the baby could be arriving at any moment.

Many fathers like to get their son or daughter a special gift. It could be a toy, first football, doll, book, or stuffed animal. If you are planning on this you want to go ahead and pack it with your bag. You might want to also think about getting your partner a special gift. This can be a great way to remind her how much you love and appreciate her. Remember these do not necessarily have to be extravagant or expensive gifts, just something to show that you care."

You can let your husband read it each week to understand what you're going through and how he can help.

Anything you ask them to :)

They should take on more household responsibility, especially anything that involves lifting (like grocery shopping). If you have a cat, they should change the litter (bacteria bad for pregnancy). They should also try to make is to important doctor appointments (the very first one, any that have an ultrasound - especially if you plan to find out the gender). They should also try to be involved in the pregnancy by helping to pick out some baby things and decorating the baby's room :)

Massage massage massage!!! Thats the best thing he can do. It all depends on how understanding your husband is. Mine does all the vaccuming because it hurts my baby, and all the cleaning that requires using smelly cleaning products. He also carries everything that is too heavy for me, and makes dinner most of the time.

Paint their wife's toenails! Seriously, you can't reach very easily lol. Massages, painting the nursery, watching siblings so she can nap, changing the kitty litter if they have a cat, run to the store for her cravings and let her know how much he appreciates all the sacrifices she is making. That's all I can think of right now.

They should be doing kitty litter if you have a cat as there are bugs in kittys poo that is toxic to you and bubs.
Also hubby can paint your nails, give you massages and even keep your lady area trimmed and tidy.
Generally, just anything that makes your time easier.
Good luck

Well, a pregnant woman, should not be cleaning up after a cat, or lifting heavy objects, so those are somethings he MUST take over. Also, just be understanding of her incesant hunger and crazy mood swings. Love her even more cause she is the mother of your child.

Change the cat litter if you have a cat (changing it yourself, you are risking getting toxoplasmosis which is dangerous for your baby). Any heavy lifting, and anything else that you feel you can't do.
