Yes, you can purchase a money order from the bank or stores. Some places will advertise all money order up to $500 -50 cents each. Make sure that you get one that has a carbon copy for your records. Some money orders only have a stub tear off and you would not have proof of who you made the money order payable to.

Anyone is able to buy a money order , a money order is just a different way of paying cash.

as long as they have the cash, they can get a money order and ask for one as a gift if that's what they want.

absolutely. all you will need is the money for the money order plus whatever the fee is to buy it.
