You can use limewire, it's a P2P software where you can download video free from. Here is limewire download link

But iPod accpets only MP4 format video, so after you download video from limewire, you need to convert it to iPod format, I always use 'Video to iPod Converter' to do that, very easy to use and works well for me. If you want, you can get FIREFOX and get the extension for it called "greasemonkey."
If you have greasemonkey, you can have it run scripts that you create. You can find scripts by searching for "greasemonkey scripts" on google, and then searching for "youtube", etc.
These scripts can put a "download" link on your screen where you can download the ".flv" file. From there, you need either an ".flv" player, or you need a video converter that works with FLV files in order to play it on windows media player.
It's pretty straightforward, but it's always possible that one script might not work.
