yes, it is a free country and i'm not saying anything bad against people who like bush but it's not like someone got up one day and said "it's a free country. so i guess that i'll like bush!" people have reasons for liking him. i live in a very liberal place and don't often get to hear these arguments

yes he's trying to "fix iraq", but it's a mess that WE started. and forcing democracy is hardly a nice thing to do. we only do things for us, never for anyone else.

Yes, I have respect for and like Bush, other countries have respect and historians ten to twenty years from now will rate Bush high for sticking to his principals and setting the strategy for a lasting middle east peace...... I look to Reagan as case in point where he was vehemently hated by the left when he was in office, but was rated by historians as one of the greatest American presidents.....

Bush is responsible for the tax cut that improves the economy that was headed toward recession after 9/11. The economy has done great under Bush and the deficit is on a huge downward tilt. Bush led the nation as a compassionate and strong leader after 9/11. He helped the US get back on our feet. Bush helped institute secutity changes and the creation of the Homeland Security Organization to protect the US. He also instituted changes in the monolithic CIA, FBI and other huge governmental departments to collaborate on security issues. This working together was unprecedented but necessary for protection. Bush led the effort to provide federal security in our nations airports. Bush has done tremendous things to protect us and there have been no terrorist activities on our soil as a result of his policies.

Charles, are you kidding? We had a budget surplus when Clinton left office, we wouldn't have a deficit if it weren't for Bush and his vendetta...er...war. Homeland Security is a joke, it is just a tool used to scare the public into supporting him. He wanted to hand our ports security over to a DUBAI BASED COMPANY!!! Is there a better way to let terrorists in?
There is nothing likable about Bush and even his fellow Republicans are turning against him as Senator Warner did today. He has done NOTHING to help this country, well maybe the wealthiest 2% and Halliburton. The poor and middle class cannot get healthcare, terrorism has NOT decreased, 3000+ American troops are dead and for WHAT?? Is Osama Bin Laden dead? Is our economy getting better? Are we paying less for gas? He is destroying our country and taking thousands of lives with him.

Why do you hate Bush?

Why do people demonize him and call him an idiot?

I honestly think he is an ok president. He is unpopular because of the war. But remember, most Democrats voted for it before it got underway. Who takes the blame for it now?

Bush does...

I think that is insane.

He is trying his best to fix Iraq... it is a darn if you do and darn if you don't with the President. No matter what he does... poeple will hate him.

... But I can understand that this war is frustrating...

I can understand why people who watch Bush hating TV and news think the way that they do.

But you know what.... we have to make the difference with what we have now... no Bush bashing.... no politics... just serve the nation the best we can. Let's work together.

I just don't understand people that want to blame their life's problems, blame 9/11, and terrorism altogether on Bush..

Somebody's got to support the man..l I think he has a tough crowd... he has to deal with us everyday.

Give the man a break... he does what the generals tell him... he proposes what his party proposes....

... sheeshhh

I REALLY like the way he is handling foreign policy "**** saddam, we're taking him out" ahhhh words of a true patriot. also, i really like how he manages to always show up on tv walking casually in a park with his cabinet behind him looking stupid. And i love the way he discusses important issues while vacationing at his ranch, i would LOVE to be in Bush's place, i could work from home and make good money, it would be GREAT.

Like Dennis Miller said, I like a President who, when he wakes up in the morning, reaches down, scratches his balls, and says, "Let's go kill some terrorists today."
