Theoretically, LA Galaxy have got the best bargain with Beckham, Real Madrid are refusing to play him, so he should be fit enough to play in the US as soon as the deal is complete. Not to mention the fact that he is STILL the most marketable footballer in the world.

£128 million over 5 years is not a lot when you take into account merchandising potential in the US alone. Plus there is already an increase in season ticket holders among Hollywood A-List celebrities, and it will increase the popularity of the game in the US. meaning even MORE money!

Potentially LA Galaxy will earn billions.

Beckham isn't a January transfer, he doesn't count in this situation. Either way, potentially, LA well win big. Potentially, the MLS well implode because of this.

As for Ashley Young, that is bull. 10 mil for an unproven striker who has only scored 4 goals (or less). He might turn out to be a bargain if he becomes top class (big if), but currently, he is expensive.

I know he plays at Watford, but for 10mil, I would take Darren Bent anyday.

O'Neil has seemed to have lost it since he signed for Villa. I use to think he was a solid replacement for Sir Alex, now I don't even know if he is good enough for Villa.

Lucas Neill. Since he is in his last 6 months of contract at Blackburn, his transfer to West Ham will be cheap. And with his quality missing at Blackburn, they are starting to losing games. West Ham will benefit from Lucas Neill's experience and will stay up in EPL.

Henrik Larrson. I gotta go with Hot R. The guy is rock solid, consistent. Arsene Wenger said of him, "I'm petrified of Henrik Larrson."

He's gotta be one of the best class acts on the pitch - I can't say enough good about him.
