some days I just don't have much to say and my brother constantly asks me whats wrong? everybody does it, why?

becasue when people are upset they dont want to talk much and seem down, i guess when u dont talk people assume that something is wrong

perhaps you're normally a talkative person and on your 'quiet days' people notice the difference and assume something is wrong. or, in my experience, people become uncomfortable with silence and things they don't understand. your silence paired with their concern for what they don't know is responded to with questions so that at least they have one of their 'issues' figured out.

Because people are annoying that way. There's nothing wrong with being quiet.
