If we were The Flash, and was able to "see" sound in bands of compressed air, we'd see regularly spaced spherical bands emanating from the source. Sort of a 3D version of ocean waves out at sea.

The pressure of air actually varies sinusoidally for pure tones, but you get the picture.

Actually, they would be high frequency sphere-like waves that radiate outward like ripples in a pond when you throw in a stone.

They would appear as a bubble emanating out in all directions from the source of the sound. As they moved farther away, they would gradually begin to fade until they disappeared.
