Definitely go with the BMW, it can outhandle any American muscle car, and they're pretty fast to boot.

ok this is a HUGE pet peeve of mine -BIMMERS are cars BEEMERS are bikes ,and the comparison is not a good one because of seating,ergonomics ,cost and differences in performance.For ultimate performance bang for buck the corvette is by far the best, but for luxo performance sedan in case you might NEED a back seat and or TRUNK BMW is one of the best its classic apples and oranges-

Depends on the year and models, your question is far too vague.
But comparing fairly equally priced current models, say C6 to a 335i, I'd take the BMW.

If it's a Z06 or say like a 76 stingray, def the vette. Hell, I take any vette over a BMW.... Just don't like em....

i'll take the new zo6 vette over any 6 cylinder bmw, but i'll take any new bmw with v8 or v12 over any general motors vehicle.
