smart person here, an innocent life shouldnt be killed cause your a hoe and cant keep your legs closed. Every baby deserves the chance to grow and be loved, abortion is wrong in so many ways. The ones who do it make me sick and they give good women a bad name, give an unborn baby the chance they deserve at life. Its a baby no matter how dumb you are and want to call it an embryo or fetus, ITS A GOD DAMN BABY YOU IDIOT!!!

well it is bearer's choice. People like you (pro-lifers) can't change another's mind.
If they don't want a child and they got it by accident, then them get abortion. 4000 babies throughout the world is not a lot.
and anyways if you look at it in a certain perspective, it is actually saving hundreds of millions of people.
4000... multiply that by 365 (days in a year)
do you know what that is on the top of your head?
Probably not. You know why?
That is 1 BILLION 460 million
that means by the end of the year there there are 1 billion and 460 million fetuses being aborted.
Yes, you may say this is disgusting and beyond what anyone can think of, but the truth is that if those 1,460,000 were to live.
we would run out of resources, food, and supplies to take care of all these extra people. The world needs abortion.
Not everyone will be willing to conform to no premarrital sex and in return, we need abortion.
Think of it this way.
With out abortion, we would probably need to be living on another planet by now.
Abortion, according to a site i just looked at, started in or about 1800
so an average of 50 to 100 fetuses were aborted then till recent times.
By now, those 50 to 100 per day or even per year would add up to a few hundred billion or even a trillion people.
Our world cannot hold that much and would be forced to sacrifice food, shelter, land and resources just to cope with the exponential growth of the reproduction rate. People will never learn from the actions they take and abortion is the only way to regulate it.

Good for you! I am also pro-life. People are trying to do something about it, but they are having no luck. A lot of people who are aborting babies are doing so because they do not want to be pregnant, they don't want their parents to find out, r they don't want to get fat. Those are all selfish reasons. If they don't want to have babies, then they need to not have sex. Not that I don't care about the soldiers, because I don't think anyone should be over there right now. These are both very controversial topics and you are going to get some extreme answers.

Perhaps the choice is not "between abortion and knowing their kid is probably in a bad foster home" but rather a choice of getting pregnant or not. While you could argue that many women are uneducated about this (I agree!), there are many educated women who get pregnant unexpectedly and then choose to abort.
I don't like the comparison to Iraq soldiers. There are 1000's of people who die in war, commit suicide, are victims of homicide or die from a medical mistake among many, many other tragedies. These are all things that should bother us. Human life is human life.
For the record, I am against abortion but I am also against the government regulating what a woman can do with her body which according to most puts me in the "choice" category. Can't quite call myself that though.

Its just an easy form of birth control for these girs...but right after the abortion they are right back to having unprotected sex again,,most of the people that give thumbs down on our answers are usually the ones who have had abortions so it doesnt phase me....How do people think its wrong to kill innocent live babies out there everyday from sickos but not during abortion,it is the same thing..these babies have viable parts such as a beating heart,legs,arms,10 fingers and 10 toes...

Maybe because us pro-lifers are sitting on the computers asking questions like this and not doing anything about it. And I don't mean standing outside of a clinic yelling at the people who go inside. That just gives people a bad taste in their mouths for us. The Pro-choicers are organized and driven and are out there working to get legislation in favor of abortion and offering these girls a way out. What do we do we whine and complain and yet we won't get organized and we won't offer these girls proactive options. Where the rubber meets the road is are we willing to get out there and help these girls find adoptive parents, support them when they tell their parents, give them shelter when their parents kick them out, train them in a vocation and help them get their GED. These girls are scared and are backed into a wall. I know I was one of them. (There are also those who just don't understand the sanctity of human life and that too is our fault because we have allowed our schools to turn to teaching relativity of morals) It's time we stood up organized and did something about it (other than whine and complain and scare the crap out of girls in front of the abortion clinic.)

To Devan. You are an idiot. Most Women don't even consider Adoption when they are pregnant, you are the hypocrite. There are plenty of people wanting to adopt that have to go out of the country. So I call b.s. on your remark. Secondly if people would put a sock on it then there wouldn't be that many abortions. I bet you something like 90 percent of those women had unprotected sex.

People ARE doing something about it. People are educating women about their unborn babies, fighting for better legislation, and adopting hundreds of thousands of babies every year. People are praying.
The people who are doing something about it don't get any press!
