I am a rose as i wither through life.
Many pass by and stare for awhile.
Busy people, with all their struggle and strife.
Yet never more time then spent by a child.
To live is to learn, and to toss is to turn,
but never have i felt my little heart burn.
like when that child stayed for a whilst with me,
nevermore with my eyes did see,
for i am a rose as i wither through life

A rose: A soft Bouquet of romance. All roses symbolize love but.... I don't think you would really want to write about the physical way a rose looks, because there's really not much to say, they are fragrant, they have petals, they have buds, and hips, and come in different scents. I think a better idea would be to write about if you were a rose what kind / color of rose you would be and why, different color roses symbolize different things, so do the way a rose is presented. Here's an example I would use.
I AM A ROSE, AND IT IS YOU THAT I CHOSE
TO LET YOU KNOW THAT I AM DARK PINK
BECAUSE YOU SAVED ME FROM THE BRINK
OF DESTRUCTION, SO THANK YOU AND HOLD ME
CLOSE TO YOUR HEART
AND LET US NEVER BE APART.
THANK YOU,
I AM A ROSE
PINK

Red roses of any hue say "I love you"
Deep red roses imply unconscious beauty.
White roses signify spiritual love and purity
Bridal white means happy love.
Yellow roses today signify joy and gladness; historically, they meant a decrease of love and infidelity.
Coral roses imply desire
Orange say "I am fascinated and enthusiastic."
Lavender roses mean love at first sight
Light pink roses imply grace, gentility and admiration
Dark pink roses say"thank you."
In general, pale-colored roses signify friendship.

A single rose -simplicity
Two Roses Joined Together -Engagement
A dozen- the ultimate declaration of love
Red and White Roses Together - Unity
Red and Yellow-Happy Feelings
Red and yellow roses mixed together say "Congratulations!"
Yellow and orange roses together imply passionate thoughts

You're not 'righting' a poem... you're 'writing' a poem.

You know yourself better than anyone. If you think you are 'like a rose' why don't you start with making a list of words and ideas that describe both you and a rose? For example... a rose has thorns that hurt someone who tries to hold it. Do you have thorns that hurt those who try to hold you? A rose is a gift for a loved one. Are you?

righting or writing? how does that work?

As I awake to the morning sun and open my petals to absorb more sunlight, I see an old gardener grab for my stem. She is careful not to poke herself on my thorns. She admires my radiant red color and my soft petals. She leans in closely to get a smell of my fragrant aroma. She drops water over me ever so lightly and walks away. I feel good today as I was adored and someone was kind enough to stop and smell this rose.

Beautiful to behold with a gentle and delightful fragrance.
The petals are soft, smooth and pleasant to the touch.
A rose is to be enjoyed, admired, loved and appreciated.

To walk among the lovely roses in my garden is to be lifted high above this earthly realm.

you could use word like soft, velvety touch, wilted or withered all wonderful discription words, to describe the petals, and incorperate those words ino your feelings also, if the poem is metaphorically speaking of you. also describe the bumpy and thorny stem, bumps or obstacles in life, sort of thing, and the smell, dont forget the smell, fresh, pleasent, as the wind wisped through the petals the aroma that effected your senses. a rose is actually pretty easy to pull words from. think color, texture, smell, feel, use every sense and appeal to it.

here's a list of descriptions of the top of my head...
Crimson-red/blood-red petals glistening with dew in the morning light...the perfection/almost porclein appearance of the petals that seem to guard and shelter the heart of the delicate rose, the silk texture that shows the essence of the plant, the sweet aroma/soothing fragrance...the thorns protruding from its stem to ward off those who wish to interrupt its beauty...use symbolism for the color. i.e. if it is a white rose maybe it symbolizes purity innocence a new begining...
junk like that...Good luck!

Mention the thorns behind the pedals. The blood red color. Obviously create metaphors with these like behind every facade there is strife. I think you could also make a metaphorical statement behind roses need nurture to grow, etc.

Does that mean you can left a poem? Or wrong a poem?

Oh! You're writing a poem... I get it...

You could say, like:

I am a rose, I grow on a vine
As a gift I say love
and I say it just fine...

I'm terrible at poetry... here is some inspiration I hope will help you!
