Does not really bother me.
Most don't forget my name (I am 6'8" and most call me Tiny)
When they call me the wrong name its usually nothing that I haven't been called before.
Depends who mispronounces my name what I saw to then. Usually I just ignore it.
So to answer your question when they call me the wrong name.

I would say number 2; my name is MaryEllen, and I absolutely HATE being called Mary. I think if you're going to take the trouble to speak to me, you should be able to pronounce my entire name!

2. Someone calls you the wrong name. I slapped my husband once because he called me by his ex wife's name. He has never call me that again.

someone forgets your name. especially if it's that guy that you've had your eyes on for about the last eight months! talk about embarassing!
