Some things I liked, some things I did not.
I feel he did a good job, of course there are others who are going to argue this.
I did like the ending congratulating the citizens of the USA in there achievements....I feel ending in a positive note was a very good move.
I did not like thinking my children will be at the age to go into the war, however the homeland defense idea is a good one, lets see what happens.
Weaning us off the fuel we buy from the middle east is a great idea. Did you see the fella from Iowa get real excited over this! I feel we need more hybrid cars as well as other natural fuels to be on the market at a reasonable price. I feel more tax breaks for the citizens and or companies that use such fuels need more praise for doing this.
The new boarder idea is good to allow the farm labor to come into the USA legally so we can put more people on those coming into the USA who are out for terror and for selling drugs to be dealt with. We need the farm labor and help from Mexico and let them be here to work legally. Instead of like the president said sneaking into America illegally being treated like those that are here to sell the drugs and do harm. Many Americans will not do the work these hard working people from other countries will do.
The medical ideas I hope do work. We who have disabled family and who deal with this hopefully see something from this.
Anyhoo some I liked some I did not, but I did like his tone and all around thought it was a good speech, just hope he did not tell us only what we wanted to hear with the war stuff mixed in thinking we did not hear those parts....

historic in that he's black and has a good shot at prevailing the election. As for the speech itself, no longer truly. i could not care a lot less about what music a candidate makes use of or how emotional they make human beings experience. thoughts are for activities, i do not want yet another emotional knee jerk reaction to assert, oh a terrorist attack. i want to understand the way he plans on doing the failings he says he will do. How is he going to fix the funds with out taxing the midsection type? through taxing the hell out of organizations, like democrats typically do, and thereby sending more suitable of our organizations foreign places? How is he going to regain American have self belief global? How is he going to truly reduce our dependence on overseas oil? those are the questions i'm nonetheless waiting for solutions for. I examine the transcript after the speech and he somewhat touched on each and each difficulty. perhaps we will locate out the solutions in the course of the debates.

I am proud to be an American, but it has nothing to do with the BS emanating from this clown! I am always proud to be an American in spite of that embarrassment in charge of the country!

All presidents sound good during the state of the union speech. Too bad the Congress never has enough guts or decency to ACT on any of those initiatives.
