how soon can the Doctor tell you if your haveing TWINS or not..??? how many weeks

They usually can tell you at your first ultrasound. Or if they hear 2 heartbeats before you have an ultrasound, then they will know it is twins. Usually you can find out only a few weeks into pregnancy, but sometimes one twin is behind the other one in the womb at the beginning, so you could be a few months along before knowing.

I was 7 weeks along when the sonogram showed 2 separate sacs and 2 separate fetus'.

I was 5-6 wks along. I went for my first exam and dates weren't adding up with size so they did an ultrasound and HOLY CRAP there were TWO!

Usually at your first ultrasound done between eight and 12 weeks.

My OB did my 1st trimester ultrasound at 7 weeks & they check for multiples then

i believe 8 weeks thats when my sister-in-law ound out she was 2 months
