i've heard veiws on both side. i was interested what you thought. is george w bush inarticulate or is he genuienly stupid and not curious?

I don't think he's literally stupid. Just a little slow on the uptake and not given to being good at speaking off the cuff. He's an embarrassment when it comes to foreign relations, that's for sure. But then again, arrogance is often something displayed by those who just aren't too bright. We already know he is incompetent at managing a war. Maybe my first sentence is wrong after all.

He's got a learning disability., which his father also had to a lesser extent. He's not good with prepared speaches (and that includes press conferences for which he's been coached the answers). He actually got a good wit, and I've heard Al Franken (who now calls Bush an idiot) say W is one of the smartest men he'd ever met.

stop it. stop calling names to someone who was elected by the votes of the people of USA. have some respect. the speech was well delivered. history will judge what the president did or did not do. i believe he is a patriot --and gives his life efforts to the well being of America. i rest my case and you should definitely change yours.

He has scientifically been diagnosed with a much lower than average IQ for one thing.
