Just wondering. Iraqi officials and the Iraq Study Group have established Saudia Arabia is funding insurgents. So why doesn't Bush give them a stern talking to? Why is the indignation reserved for Iran and Syria?

This is a VERY good question. All I can say is;
The Carlylse Group. For those who dont know, this is the company George Bush Sr was working for when the terroristrs attacked on Sept 11. The Carlylse Group has many subsidiaries, some of which make weapons, some of which serve food to soldiers, etc. Sept 11 ensured the Carlylse Group (major investors: The entire Saudi Royal family and the bin Laden family, among others) would have a very good year, income-wise. Bush Sr finally had to quit (2 years later) when him working there and making money from Sept 11 was too much of an embarrassment for Republicans.
For some reason we are just completely enslaved to Saudi Arabia. Why else would:
1. The bin Ladens be allowed to fly out right after 9/11;
2. Any time terror money is found to have come from Saudi Arabia, it is returned to SA. in all other cases, the money is confiscated;
3. 15 of the 19 hijackers were Saudi
4. Civillian attempts to sue the bin Laden family for their relatives' wrongful deaths has been blocked by the US State Dept;
5. The Saudi Embassy in Washington has US Secret Service protection, paid for by the US taxpayer;
6. Documents and records, requested of the Saudis by the Office of Homeland Security are routinely ignored;
7. The OHS has given up on expecting any assistance from Suadi Arabia, due to bureaucratic "resistance".
8. Where is the Saudi Arabian Army in Iraq, if Iraq is such a threat to the region? Where are they in Afghanistan? Have THEY "gotten firm" with Iran over these nukes? Why is the US doing THEIR defense work for them?
Other countries seem confused by our loyalty to Israel. I'm confused by our loyalty to Saudi Arabia.

In 1988 Bush was a failed oil businessman. Shortly after his father becomes President some Saudis buy a portion of his small company. Two of the investors at that time were Salem bin Laden and Khalid bin Mahfouz. Salem bin Laden is Osama’s oldest brother; Khalid bin Mahfouz is a Saudi banker with a 20 percent stake in BCCI. And in June4, 1992 the FBI investigates connections between James Bath and George W. Bush, according to published reports. Bath is Salem bin Laden’s official representative in the US. Bath’s business partner contends that, “Documents indicate that the Saudis were using Bath and their huge financial resources to influence US policy,” since George W. Bush’s father is president. George W. Bush denies any connections to Saudi money. What becomes of this investigation is unclear, but no charges are ever filed. [Houston Chronicle, 6/4/1992]

Saudi Arabia is considered our alley. They have adjjsted their oil output to meet US's needs.
When we fought the 1st Gulf War, guess who helped to pay for it - Saudi Arabia.
Citizens in Saudi Arabia are sending money to cause trouble elsewhere partially as a response to how tight things are run in their own country.

It is just because they still find Saudi is their puppet and economical safe source as they are very much supporting to the plans of America. and best buyer of favour for America world wide..keeping mouth shut of all Muslim scholars by money and other means............
