Exercise, it's free. Just walk 8 blocks and back or go to the track or walk 15 minutes on a treadmill. That's all it will take to start loosing. Then you'll feel better and want to do more. then you could start with 50 then 100 sit ups a day takes about 10 minutes! If you do any of this slowly, you will feel better all the way around mentally and physically. You can still eat but you wont want to eat as much, it all works out!

You don't have to pay for any diet.

Take some time to research a lifestyle change that will work for you. A lifestyle change includes diet and exercise.

Try to incorporate exercise you can do on a day-to-day basis and maybe an activity that you enjoy. Like biking, hiking, going for a run with the kid in a stroller, mommy/baby yoga, etc.

Sparkpeople is an AMAZING FREE service to help you with a lifestyle change. It will track your goals, give you meal plans, etc.

Good luck.

I had the same issue after I had my daughter. It takes about a year for your muscles to shrink back. After that year the pounds fly off. just eat healthy, take vitamins (you need a boost after a baby), exercise. some places have baby yoga/exercise classes, they help you bond with baby, get mentally and physically back in shape. Trust me on the vitamins they make you feel so much better, take them before bed and you'll have a little more umpf in the AM! It will happen it just takes time!

No weight watchers..No dieting..No exercising...Just change the way you eat...Everything about it! Do you like sweets..and junk just substitute that for some veggies or fruit. You will see an instant change. I have 2 kids ages 3-6 and I had the exact same problem as you. Change your eating habits! Look on the web for some really good healthy recipes and some of them are really really good. Stop potatoes...white bread...surgery stuff and you'll see an instant improvement...I hope this helps

I will tell you what my husband tells me, STOP WORRYING ABOUT IT! He tells me that everyday. The more you worry the more weight you gain. I would try drinking more water and veggies. That's what I am doing. My daughter is 4 mon. I gained alot of weight. I was on bed rest during my pregnancy. Absolute bed rest, well you can imagine...... Good luck and don't worry so much. Go take a nice long walk.

Weight watchers is great!! You don't have to buy any of their food. You just need a starters kit. It gives you a certain # of points you can in a day and book w/ food pt. values, also you get a pts. finder, so you can find food pt. values that aren't listed. They have different pt. values based on your weight.

You can also minimize portions, and excersice w/ your baby. Do stroller lunges(hold on to the stroller and strech down a block or so).

it took you nine months to put on the weight... why do you expect to drop in in 6...

Look up at your local book store a booklet written by a man named Charles Bragg... Look up juice fasting... it works... I lost 13 pounds in 10 days... no lie..

Afterwards I started eating vegetarian... ]

You have to first understand what metabolism is and how yours works.. then do like UNK says....

Walk it out.... walk it out... east-side walk it out.. west-side walk it out.. north-side walk it out....(discipline yourself to a daily exercise routine... it takes 21 days to form a new habit)

Good luck
