No, and that is an interesting fact! If they steal mine though they will about ten feet and give up, then get out and run. The power steering is out in my car and I can hardly steer th damn thing.

Most club type locks one can buy for a steering wheel can be opened quickly by professionals with the right tools, so don't invest heavily in such a device. All it may do is slow down the professional. An alarm is harder to deal with, so most casual car thefts are targeted at vehicles that don't appear to be guarded. In the end, all one can do is make a car as unappealing as possible to a thief. A steering wheel club and alarm are about as good as things get this side of an armed guard.

We never lock our vehicles or home, has its advantages to living somewhere out in Alberta Canada
When I lived in the states I had 2 vehicles stolen, one in Oregon and one in Kentucky ...
In Edmonton Alberta there are well over 24 vehicles a day stolen

Mine is locked, and alarm set, but it's a little old to be worrying about, really. It would be more inconvenience than tragedy if it got stolen. I'd have to get another, and it would delay my plans.
