I have an opportunity to work for the Democratic National Committee but also have a shot at working for Rudy Giuliani when and if he actually runs. I am a Republican but agree more woth the Democrats. However, Rudy Giuliani also is a Republican and has the exact same values as me. He seems more like a Democrat then a Republican also. What do you all suggest?

I suggest you first thank God you have two such wonderful opportunities before you.

Second I would propose that you turn off the computer & resist the urge to seek counsel from complete strangers, many w little to offer but an ugly slur directed at some perceived enemy.

I sincerely hope you have someone to help you choose an option offering you future growth. Too many will give you some garbage to degrade both of the choices.

I have worked on campaigns of dems, reps, & two independents acting as treasurer, and campaign manager , mixed in w a four year term elected as a party official. I;m jealous in a positive way. and tho I'm a stranger too....

I've always been proud to work w candidates campaigning for an office, not AGAINST an opponent. Drop me an email if you want to bounce ideas around, but I'll help in any way short of saying you should do X..
Believe me only you can make that call. Good Luck!!

Even if he runs, Giuliani doesn't stand a prayer, so you'd just be hitching yourself to a sure loser.

Yes, I am a Dem, but I'm also in New York, and I wouldn't bet a plug nickel on Giuliani even winning his home state during a presidential election, even if he *could* win the Repub. nomination (which he won't). Indeed, even if the Dem nominee is NOT Hillary (and, as a dedicated Democrat, I actually hope that it *isn't* Hillary), Giuliani will NOT win NY running against a Democrat -- pretty much any Democrat would beat Rudy in his home state, and New York (along with California, Massachusettes, etc) is precisely the sort of state where a Giuliani type would *need* to win, but when stacked up against a Dem, in ANY of these places, he doesn't have a prayer. I mean, come on, do you really think that the Bible-belt Republicans (who now control the Repub. party) are going to come out in droves and vote for twice-divorced, pro-choice, "okay with gay marriage" Rudy?? Not many. And, on the other hand, how many Dems are going to cross-over and vote for pro-Iraq-war, Bush toady Rudy?? Not many. And, in my opinion, thank God that fascist Rudy *doesn't* have a chance!

Well, if you agree more with the democrats, then you are a democrat. Personally I think we need a middle of the road party, which is probably more like what you are.
Rudy is also originally a democrat, just like mayor Bloomberg. He is pro abortion, pro gay rights, pro gun control. He is just tough on crime and for smaller gov't, so he runs republican. Personally, I'd work for rudy. I think he represents more of what the majority of America wants.Plus you said he represents how you feel, so why not work for him? The dems are to all over the place and to extreme anyway.

Rudy is a very un-clean man. If you live in NYC, then work for Rudy. He's a major powerbroker in town and can get you things. If you are idealistic and want to do good. Honest good. Then find someone else. Repub or Dem.

Rudy Giuliani. He his tough on defense and minds his own business when it comes to people personal lives. I would call him more a libeterian on those issues.

He is more of a Democrat. He'd never get the Republican nomination

IF YOU HAVE TO ASK, I WILL TELL YOU GO WITH RUDY. THE DNC DOESN'T NEED A FLIP FLOP.
