Whatever you do, stay away from a Pisces male!
Now, this is always difficult to really answer, because there are other influences in each of us other than our sun signs.
But, basically, Scorpio and Virgos (Virgo is the opposite of us and therefore complimenting) are the two best...sorry, the Scorpio is my personal choice. (Did you see what rules this sign, hon)
So: Virgo.

I am a Pisces and I wondered the same thing. I know I keep finding Capricorns and I should stay away. So didnt be like me stay away stay far away. Not that there is anything wrong with Capricorns. I just didn't mesh well. Also Aries is not a great combo. I think the best are water signs, but I haven't had any luck and I am very timid about male Pisces. I know I wont get points, but I think this question is good and as a female Pisces I wonder the same darn thing. We are a sensitive yet strong creatures and we need a sensitive yet strong man and its hard to find.

Anyone who says a Pisces and an Aries is a good match obviously doesn't know about compatibility within the signs.
I'd say you'd come close to perfection with a Cancer.
Look at Johnny Cash(Pisces) and June Carter(Cancer). Perfect. Even though the sexes are opposite, it is the same case. Cancers and Pisces are the two most sensitive and emotional signs in the zodiac. They get each other. Pisces might have trouble in depression, but if you have a Cancer by your side, he will pull you out of it faster than you can say Ring of Fire. Cancers are the mothering, Cardinal water sign.
You may find yourself crying with a Scorpio. Unless he has an understanding rising sign. He'll be too honest , too brutal and too sexually charged. Maybe not.

Oh my god!! I'm a pisces! I got this really cool book for my birthday a while back, and it says that the BEST match is Scorpio, and the 2nd best is Cancer. It says pisces & pisces is bad. Pretty much the other water signs, I guess...

I've never really believed in judging and categorizing people by their signs, but;
As a female pisces, i've always gotten very well with cancer women and men, and could not really get along with gemini women and men.
But everyone's personality and history is unique. So don't be prejudiced!
