I am 58. My Mother died in '02,my father in '03.

I was in the process of caring for my mom. God delivered her from this Earth in 2004. She is healthy and in a better place now. She had Alzheimer's. She didn't know my name, or that I was her daughter, but she still lit up like a Christmas tree whenever she saw me. She knew I was someone who loved her.

Yes, my mother is disabled and is currently undergoing chemotherapy for cancer. I speak with her everyday and see her 2-3 days a week.
That woman is the epitome of goodness, and I pray she will make it through. She's still relatively young (just slightly older than you).
My father passed away almost seven years ago, so Mom is all we have left.
