If they do it could be because loners tend to be introverts. A lot of extroverts do not understand introverts because extroverts sometimes have a hard time being alone. They get their energy from others, while an introvert will get energized from isolation. Generally speaking, of course.

Happy introvert.

Because they just don't understand them! I'm a loner too! It's a tough life. I'm grown and I'm still a "loner". I don't approach people at family gatherings or at the mall...being around others makes me uncomfortable. At best, I just don't give a *poop* about being around others.
As you grow older (I assume you're a teen by the use of the word "loner" forgive me if you're not) you WILL have a hard time picking a profession. What has finally worked for me is tax accounting. I get to analyze things, figure out difficult scenarios, and I have minimal contact with the public. Most people drop off their papers and leave :-)
Good luck!

well i agree i know a bunch of people who live alone ... and who are alone and there is nothing wrong with that . Infact i think its being independent and its your choice of life style. and people do weird things .... if you do everything in your life according to what people think your in big trouble ...
so even if a billion people look down upon loners ... there is another billion and half that don't ... SO its kinda hard to generalize people ... :)

It's because most people are sheep. Pardon the cliche, but it's true. Most people are content to--no, even LIKE to--go along with whatever other people say and do.
Individuals and loners scare the sheep... they think they by being apart from them, you disapprove of them.
I'd rather be a wolf than a sheep any day, myself.

that could desire to be me looking down on myself, which I each and every so often do. i think of loners have an somewhat sturdy techniques meaning that they think of of their heads greater. They call loners strange by way of fact they desire to be by myself. that's no longer a subject by way of fact being by myself can each and every so often be greater effective.

Inside a loner is a sad person.
