How much would it cost to have a custom Master Sword made by a blacksmith in the New York City area. Almost identical to the Master Sword from Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess?

A Scottish blacksmith made one for GBP 1800 (about US$3300).

Personally, I would guess it would be above $800. Craftsman blacksmithing is an art, and it's a long process. You are asking for a custom designed replica. I'd bet it will land in the $800-1400 range. But that's a guess.

I found this one via Google for $80:

And there's several on Ebay for $30-80

In general, $2000-$5000, probably on the higher end in NYC, particularly if you want it done right. Blacksmithing is a very specialized and almost lost art. However, I believe RIT's school of American crafts (it's something like that--I know it's at RIT) offers blacksmithing courses, so, if you're willing to be a guinea pig, you might be able to get a student to do it for significantly less. (Assuming you're willing to travel upstate.)

Kenshin Himura As my student, I had him defeat each and every of the others as his very final examination earlier I allowed him to graduate. To my large ask your self, he beat all of them on the comparable time.

There's a man on ebay doing it for 1250. I've seen some of his work and it is fantastic. If you can't find him, email me.

probably a buttload of cash for all the customization you would want him to do on the blade, especially the handguard.
