Besides the many churches that people have mentioned already, there are some Anglican churches that are accepting depending on the area you live in. If you happen to be Jewish, Reformed Judaism synagogues also accept people who are GLBT.
If you click on the link below, you'll find a list of websites of religious groups that are fighting for GLBT-inclusiveness. If you click on a particular group, on their website you should be able to find some way of checking out where a tolerant place of worship is in your area.

I asked that same question yesterday & everyone gave me great answers. The United Church of Christ not to be confused with The Church of Christ which in anti gay. But I called them today & the pastor said that each minister or pastor interpet the Bible in different ways & to that church it is not a sin. They are even teaching a class on Feb 11th to try & show others that homosexuality is not a sin.

If you are in New York then I believe it should be easy. I live in Chicago and see many churches with the rainbow sticker on their sign. That may be a way to start to see if religion is for you, and if so, which one.
If I were to go back to church it would be a Lutheran one. That is what i was raised. That is, if I were to go back.

In addition to the many forms of Christianity that others have included, Wicca and Buddhism are also quite accepting.

Probably a Unitarian church. If not looking for specifically Christian, than Spiritual churches do also, they accept all.

Unitarian Universalism - we even have programs like interweave and "welcoming congregation" to support FULL inclusion of GLBT folks in our church life..
Congregationalism - i think they have similar programs
Lots of churches like Metropolitan community church here. there are many gay-friendly or predominately gay churches.
check the local gay newspaper. they should be advertising.

Yeah they are out there. Depending on where you live you might have problems finding one though. Most places of the world are a little less tolerant then others.

That "except"? Or "accept"? I wouldn't know either way. Religion is a very outdated concept of philosophy dealing with morality and the nature of humanity.
