Depression is a very serious problem. Have your doctor write her a note or even call her. People can be effected in different ways so don't be afraid to tell her the truth. If she acts like you said she would then talk to your HR department. That is grounds for some sort of harassment.

start doing crazy things like crying on the phone with a customer. Standing there talking with her and you just take off into the restroom, while yelling it's over. Someone is bound to get the picture.

Why do you have to tell her? Get yourself some help now. Better than 50% of people suffer with some sort of depression and it's very treatable.

Shoot a few of the worthless ones at work, usually they are in upper management and related to the president.
They listen REAL good then!

You usually don't want to bring your personal life to work. If it is affecting your ability to work, then explain to her and get help. Otherwise, most supervisors or bosses don't want to hear it. You're there to do a job, and they are there to supervise you, not be a confidant.
