Virus on IPod is certainly a possibility. When u are downloading a file to iPod, file may be a corrupted one, and would make an entry for virus to ur device. The extent of damage a virus can do , will be different then what it does on a computer. Since viruses are made to work on particular OS.(remember viruses are also computer program only).
