How ever many will fit once the lots are divided. Lots come in all sizes and so do residential blocks.

That cannot be answered. Every municipality decides how long the blocks run. I have seen blocks 250 ft long with lots 50' x 100' and I've seen them twice even three times as long.

In California they can have zero lot lines, which means that one side of your house abuts the neighbor's lot, and the outside wall of your garage, which sits at the rear of the lot, abuts the other neighbor's lot. These can be 30' x 75'.

Here in Kansas, typical is 50' x 100' but that isn't written in stone. I have a rental that is 35' x 75'. Tenants love the small lot because they don't have much to mow.

Hope that helps some.

Good Luck
