is there anyone here who had a urine test (home) and it was negative, but they actually got a blood test and it was positive?...or they had ended up being pregnant anyway?

Bloods are more accurate. They have a higher sensitivity then urine tests.

Blood tests are more reliable. And their are people who have had negitive urine and positive blood. Good Luck

Yes, HCG ( what turns the HPT positive ;) ) metabolizes in the blood before it shows up in the urine.
