Because there are so many different reasons out there that a couple might not be able to conceive, you can't listen to everyone who says "This will work for you because it worked for me". The only way is to see a doctor and get a proper diagnosis. And don't listen to people who tell you to relax, have a drink, or go on vacation. You have a medical problem and no amount of relaxation is going to fix it.

I used the clearblue easy fertility monitor. It is expensive, but if you really desperately want to get pregnant, this works SOOO good! It pinpoints your exact fertil time each month with "high fertility" and "peak fertiltiy". Which is important since the experts say an egg only has an "experation" of 12-24 hrs. after you ovulate. Also you might talk to a doctor, there are plenty of fertility treatments availible, like chlomid, (sp?) that will help with people like you who have irregular cycles and fertility problems...There are plenty of simple things you can try. Just do some research. I had a problem too, and i know you'll hear this alot, but it really does help if you just chill and stop trying. I tried and tried and one month i said "lets just stop trying for now, i can't take it anymore" And then my next period never came :)

Doctors recommend sex every SECOND day to increase the quality and even quantity of the sperm. Have you been charting your body temperature. This will help you with working out whether or not you ovulate regularly. If you don't then the doctors can prescribe Clomid to increase ovulation. They can also do blood tests to see if anything else could be affecting you or partner. Sperm counts for him check his side of things. And Day 21 progesterone blood test from you can check on ovulation as well. Other tests can be proformed but are a bit more invasive. Ask your doctor and tell him you are serious. If he doesn't send you for blood tests and maybe even an ultrasound then try a different doctor.
Good luck

This is some information my aunt gave me, Hope it helps :) I dont have 5 children btw, That is her :)
First know when you are ovulating, that is the key! See below. Cut back on the caffeine as much as possible. After intercourse stay in a flat position for at least 15 minutes. Let nature take action.I am a expert at this.
I have five kids.
And planned them all.
Everyone body is different.
The one and only way to tell when you're ovulating is by your vaginal discharge.
Most people ovulate around the 14th day after the first day of their period.
I ovulated the 19th day.
You have to go by your body fluids.
You will have two to three stages of fluids.
One stage will be very clear & watery.
You are not ovulating.
The discharge may become slightly thicker.
Now the way to tell if you are ovulating is, to take the discharge and either put it on toilet paper or on your finger's.
Now if you can spread your thumb and your index finger apart several times and the mucus or discharge strings along and does not break and keeps going back and forth you are ovulating.
You can do this with toilet paper too, but it is not as affective. If you can pull the paper apart several times without the mucus breaking you are ovulating.
I have helped numerous friends get pregnant using this method, I hope it works for you when you are ready.
Good luck!
God bless.

I had the same problem, and what you really need to do is calm down relax and stop trying, go to vegas get drunk and have fun, thats how i got pregnant, JUST kidding but really I took a pill called ovulex and my husband took ambreso the male one, you can go to ovulex.com and it worked for me and many many of my friends, it took us 3 months with that and some of my friends as little as 2 weeks i didnt believe it and i tryed it and it really did work, and laying on my back after sex with pillows underneath me to help the sperm find its way through my cervix and i ate lots and lots of spiniach to get folic acid but you can buy it in a pill also and try useing the ovulation tests, i know the brand answer has one, and i think EPT or something just came out with one also telling you, your two most fertile days thats what i did and im 37 weeks expecting a girl any day now... GOOD LUCK and prayer also helps,

I have the same problem, and went to see my gyn. I was referred to a reproductive specialist who did some testing and diagnosed me with PCOS. it's a disease that cause irregular periods, infertility and a host of other problems. if not taken care of properly, it can lead to permanent problems. I have been put on medicine to help me start, and then a fertility pill to help me ovulate. It's not guaranteed , but I am willing to give it a go. What works for everyone might not work for you. there are several serious reasons why you are not menstrating. Talk to your gyn Good Luck!

You should see a gyn about your periods. If your periods are irregular then you may not be ovulating regularly either. Also, it isn't necesary to have sex everyday. Actually every other day is better. Also, semen changes th ph of the vagina and that might cause a yeast infection.

Have you been to a gyno lately dear?
I don't want to scare you, but infertility, frequent yeast infections, and irregular periods can be signs of something wrong with your reproductive system.
Just in case, schedule an appointment with your gyno to check to make sure all of your plumbing is working right.
Then, if everything checks out and you still can't get preggers, visit a fertility expert. They can help you and offer you other options, such an in vitro fertilization.

Sometimes, women are given birth control pills for a few months and then withdrawn. For what ever it is worth, talking to your Doctor about this will be a next step. I does work in many cases.
