hi,
i want to go to college for english or the arts. but seeing as my parents want me to have a decent pay, they want me to go to college for banking. I want to know some good colleges(i really want Ivy League, but in the end its all about the best program) for banking. And also perhaps the average SAT score required to get in. Thanks!

If you want Ivy League and you are interested in banking -- then there is only one place for you -- The University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. You can take your electives in the arts -- and their program is excellent.

None of the other Ivy League schools have undergraduate Business Schools -- though Cornell has business classes you can take in other schools.

Outside of the Ivy League, the best undergraduate B-Schools are MIT, Berkeley, Michigan, Virginia and NYU. Other schools like Maryland, Babson, Villanova, Texas, Wisconsin and Minnesota also have gerat undergraduate business programs.

And if you don't get into an Ivy League school, will that be so terrible?

There are lots of good non-Ivy League schools with strong departments of Economics that will be good training for banking. NYU, Chicago, and Virginia are three.
