Over weight. However, I watched a show last night on the celebrity fad of being skeleton thin and an expert says that these women will die young and age quickly because of not having enough fat on their bodies. Wrinkles will come quickly. Thin is always in on the runway, just the way it is..... However, a poll was taken and over 70% of men prefer a curvy woman with big ta ta's and a bigger bootie, like Beyonce.

Yes but not as much has it has been in the past. It seems to sometimes be more about being thin but also in shape now. I think overweight is worse since there are a lot of heath problems that go along with being overweight. Even slightly overweight people have more problems with blood pressure, etc. Being underweight isn't great but you'd have to lose a LOT of weight before you start having major health issues.

Okay being overweight you have some health issues that some day you may have to deal with, such as; heart attack, diabetes, and being underweight you are just not that attractive, all you are is skin & bones.. You should be healthy attain the right weight for your height and establish good eating patterns for life.

both are pretty detrimental to your health. Id say that being overweight gets more frowns from our society. Of course I could go into a rant about how we need to change our societal views but really- both are harmful. the big thing about this is the fact that everyone knows the risks of being under or overweight. In the end people are going to do what they want with their bodies so I will refrain from telling them if they are "in" or not.

I think both are bad. I know how bad it is to be overweight. People treat you like you are an animal instead of a person. I don't know what it's like to be underweight.

To answer both of your questions: thin is always "in" or you wouldn't see so many young women (including celebrities) starving themselves; and for health, happiness and social status, it is far worse to be overweight than underweight.

Almost everyone who thinks they are "normal" or "average" or "healthy" is really fat. Most people don't even know what "thin" even is; they just get jealous and label thin people "anorexic". Everyone should have a BMI of about 18-20.

They both have their health risks. But speaking from my perspective and experience only, I think people look better with a little meat on them. Most men I know like a little something to hold on to, not too much...

I don't think either is worse, both can be dangerous. I think it's better to just be at a healthy weight.
