I was wondering where i can obtain a visa to visit egypt? I don't know much about it because i do most of my traveling on military orders. So this is new to me.

i'm egyptian and clearly tell you Egypt is so open and welcoming the guest who come as a tourist, so you can get easily visa at any international airport here in egypt after your arrival about 10 mint or less, the visa cost 15 U$ it last for 1 month.

Egypt is one of those tourist visas that you just pay the fee and get a stamp on entry. Kind of feels more like a tax, cost $15US. That's what it was like when I went. Check out the form on the attached link. They request more on a US customs form.

But you can get it done ahead of time at an Egyptian Embassy or Consulate. If you are in the US, the second link gives the list of locations.
