The Suns are a very exciting team to watch because of their fast-paced style, and explosive offensive talent; their offense alone makes them a title contender. However, NBA history has showed that these types of teams always get slowed down in the playoffs during a 7 game series. I do concede that these Suns have the best chance I can remember to disprove this theory, but I can't seem them beating the Mavs.
Not only have the Mavs found another legitimate offensive threat in Josh Howard, but their Defense is easily one of the best in the NBA. Position for position, they have the talent in their starting five to match up with Phoenix's. The difference is, the Mavs have a style more conducive to the long haul of the NBA playoffs. I can't see this Dallas team losing to anyone in a series. They have significantly matured since last year's runner-up squad.

The Sixers. They are goin to go on the lnogest winning streak. They will finsih the year as a 5th seed, beat Washington in the first round (4 vs. 5), beat the Nets in the second (1 vs. 5), and beat Detroit (2 vs. 5). They will then sweep the Finals by an average of 300 points, Andre Miller will be Finals MVP, and Iverson and Weber are gonna commit suicide

The Suns pretty much had that line-up last year and they lost. I'm guessing Mav's and Spurs in the Western Finals, Mavs win. I dunno about Eastern conference, I haven't been able to pay attention. But it seems like Miami might have a difficult time getting playoff position with all those games lost without Shaq

Suns, Mavs, Jazz, Nuggets, Spurs
they are all potentially great to win a title this year.
in all of 5 teams, i prefer Suns, Mavs, Spurs... but i feel like one of the Texas team will win the title this year.. and I don't expect many surprises to come out from East...
