I am just 5 weeks pregnant. I went to the bathroom, and when I wiped, there was alittle pink on the toilet paper. Is this normal or is something wrong? Has anyone else had this?? I'm scared =(

Oh your poor thing. Tough question, because as others have said, It can be normal. And again, it can be a sign of something not normal.
Relax, call the Dr. If your seeing an OB, they should be able to be contacted even tonight if you can not wait until tomorrow. Or at least an on call OB could call you back.
Good luck. I hope all is fine.

It can happen and still be a normal pregnancy. I have had 3 healthy children and 1 miscarriage. When I had the miscarriage I had red spotting twice a few weeks apart then a lot of bleeding. A good friend of ours just went through lots of early spotting and just delivered a very healthy 10 lb boy. So spotting doesn't always mean something is wrong...do put in a call to the OB nurse at your doctor's office and let them know you have had some spotting...so if it occurs again...they can bring you in for a check. By letting them know it may also increase the chance they will give you an early u/s (usually 6-9 weeks preggo).

If the color turn red or the bleeding increases then you should call your doctor and he will advise you from there. Sometimes a little spotting in early pregnancy is normal, unfortunately there can be so many different causes. Are you having pain, fever, swelling, or any other symptoms? I just finished a class on Maternity nursing but I'm not an expert so if your really scared call you doctor.

I would go to the doctor. Spotting isn't really normal (safe). You could have a miscarriage. But, if it isn't a lot, don't freak, just go to the doctor a.s.a.p

spotting can be normal early in pregnancy. Miscarraige is common early in pregnancy too. Go to your Doctor very soon.

it is normal to have spotting in the first couple of months, as long as it's not bright red.

it can be normal, but it can also be a sign of miscarrage, if there is any pain you should see a doctor immediately
