Just curious if any of these symptoms happened to anyone else before you went into labor, and if so how soon before. I have been having strong braxton hicks contractions for about 3 days not that has allowed me to start dialating a little bit. I have also noticed more soft bowel movements yesterday and today, and know I am feeling realy nausaus and have no desire to eat for fear of throwing it back up. I never had nausea during this pregnancy so could these be signs that labor is just around the corner? I am only two weeks away from my due date and this is my second child. My first was induced, so i have never got to experience the signs of labor.

Everyone's labor is different. A few things are for sure..
- When you're having strong braxton hicks contractions, try changing your activity. If you're sitting, get up and walk around and vis versa. If you change your activity and after 30 minutes they do not subside or they get worse, call your doctor.
- Never go more than 6 hours without eating. Even if you're feeling nauseaus. It is ideal for a pregnant woman to eat 4 - 6 small meals a day. Even if you just sip chicken broth and have an apple. You need all the energy you can get, especially when you're this close to your due date!
- Pressure is key! Pay attention to your lower legs and your thighs. Pressure in those areas are a huge sign of true labor.
- Stay hydrated! It helps nausea and bowel movements, as well as the baby and all the other more obvious well knowns.

When in doubt... call your doctor's office. They are use to these types of calls. So don't feel silly about asking. Congratulations and I pray that your labor goes well!! ;)

The nausea seems a little odd to me. Have you talked to your doctor? It wouldn't hurt to call... Of course, with the nausea and soft bowel movements, it could be some type of flu virus... which might bring on the Braxton-Hicks contractions, too... Hard to diagnose from here.... call your doctor. That's the only way to know for sure!

Sorry to burst your bubble, yet you'll properly be at 4 cm dilated and seventy 5 % effaced and not in any respect provide for weeks. or you'd be a million cm dilated and 25 % effaced and provide that evening. each and every woman's body is diverse and dilation and effacement are really no longer precise signals of ways lengthy you've till you provide. you may also lose your mucus plug thoroughly and nonetheless no longer bypass into exertions for weeks. what's encouraging is that your infant is at -a million station. i recommend that you bypass on a pair of walks an afternoon to help that infant settle decrease into your pelvis. once you're at 0 station you're extra probable to bypass into exertions. Or... merely relax and experience those very previous few weeks and compensate for the sleep you heavily isn't getting once your infant arrives! My reports: for my oldest, i become at 4 cm dilated, seventy 5 effaced for 3 weeks. All my different sons had far diverse beginning reports, extra often than not via medical subject matters.

But, you should try to eat something! Stay away from greasy foods and other types of food that can nausiate you! Try to get your fluids too! Goodluck! 2 weeks before your due date isn't to early for having your baby!
