Clean the carb and see whats up ...but you really dont want a motocross bike to idle ( it gives you better throttle response) if you ever take notice to the beginning of a race the riders on two strokes have their mechanics reving the bike while the riders put on their goggles ...but if it idled when you got it and now it dont its probably the pilot jet is clogged ...hope this helps

check to see - Does it starve for fuel? if so clean carb, gas tank
Does it have ignition? check your sparkplugs, wires, if all else fails and you still are screwed have a mechanic look at the CDI box.
Does it have compression? but obviously it does if you can start it lol. although mine is like yours but worse, i need a new piston/rings and sylinder....
