I heard today that a couple with their young child were recently kicked off a plane because the brat was crying and spazzing out to an extreme degree. I think the flight was delayed until this brat was removed.
To this I say... fantastic! If you can't control your kids, you have NO right bringing them onto an airplane! You have NO right to make a what's already a miserable experience (cramped quarters, lousy food, etc.) even MORE miserable! And don't say... "but they're kids! I can't always control them!" Well, if you can't, and there's a good chance that your child will spend the entire 8 hour flight crying/screaming at ear-splitting volume, STAY HOME! Find another way to your destination--but you have NO right to bother other people, who have a RIGHT to peace and quiet! No, we don't have to accept the fact that young children cry--perhaps flights should only be for people 8 and older.
AND--not all young children cry and cry and cry. Many are well-behaved. Why aren't yours???

Air Trans did the RIGHT thing by removing them from the plane. There's nothing worse than a parent(s) who can't control their kids. I've had it up to here with listening to them trying to 'reason' with them. What kind of Mother takes her child on a plane if she thinks she has an ear-ache? What it comes down to is this, both the airline AND the parent were thinking dollars. It costs the airlines THOUSANDS whenever a plane arrives late to the gate unless weather related. Those are acts of God, Mother Nature.... sorry, but an unruly child does NOT fall into that category. As for the Mother, she was thinking of HERSELF, not her child. She didn't want to be inconvenienced by taking another flight or waiting until her child was better. Hello..... in any case, Air Trans tried to give her free tickets and didn't charge her the flight she was removed from. But noooooooooooooo, she gave it back. That just shows you who that little girl takes after.

Oh gosh, I so agree with you! Why isn't there an adult only section on the planes??? Same goes for restaurants. Nothing can ruin an appetite like a crying child.

The child wasn't just crying that's fine we all did it. The kid was disrupting the departure of the plane and badly inconviencing a couple hundred OTHER people many with children.

I was glad to hear about that Air Trans flight. Air travel is a business, not a right. Behave or get off.

Now that is just plain mean! Kids just get nervous! and what if one starts crying in the middle of the flight? Toss them out of the plane? Crying is just part of life...that's what tear's are for okay?
what if you were a little kid and it was your first time on a plane?
Don't go on and blame the parents either. your not behaving that well yourself! >:(

Well well how are you Mr Superman.I suppose you think noisy children should be issued with parachutes as well (Swimming the parents responsibility)Parents are quite embarassed by this trauma, and do all in they're power to pacify a frightened child Wonder if your parents ever had to chastise you as a baby/child or were you Mr Perfect before your superman status
