Does the mention of 'Hate Crime' remind us more and more of our differences? and shouldn't we focus more on what we have in common? And if the hate crime bill reminds us more of our differences then of what we have in common, is it a responsible law? would our government knowingly remind us to hate?

I still say punish the act, not the motive. If I want to hate, the law can't stop me. As long as I don't do anything, you shouldn't care.

Note: I don't hate any group of people for who they are.
