yes... you'll have back pains the entire time. Try sleeping on your side with a pillow under your waist. I'm currently 5 mo. along and it's basically every night that the back pains kick in.

This is probably normal. If the problem gets worse or is severe, talk to your Doctor. I had horrible back pains during the last few weeks of pregnancy and the Dr. said it was the weight of the baby pulling forward against the normal position of my back. I am a small person and had a normal (7 pound baby). Good luck.

Back pain is very normal but you are not far enough along for the baby to be sitting on anything or being heavy to cause this pain!! I would talk to your doctor..

Talk to your Dr. All the answers are right on, but forgot one thing. Kidney infections are very common for pregnancy. A good While Waiting book would also be very helpful to you.

Yes it's normal. The sad part is that the back pain never goes away! My kids are in their thirties and my back still hurts.

yes, very common, even early on with everything moving around getting ready. the things i found best were gentle yoga stretches (I had a yoga for pregnancy dvd) and a product called Tissue salts, they were recommended by a naturopath as safe for pregnancy, they act as a muscle relaxant and worked really well, got them at a health food store... good luck and all the best for you and your baby!
