There's nothing wrong with looking 16, as long as old skeezers aren't hitting on you.
If it bothers you that much next time you go in for new glasses, try a different style. Meanwhile, wear you're hair in "younger" style and carry around a sign that says "I'M 13/14/12!!! (or however old you are)"
You're eyes can get better or worse depending on when you wear the glasses. Just where them when you need them and take them off when you don't. My eye doctor told me that and I've been trying to follow her advice (I used to wear mine all the time outside too)
As long as you don't strain your eyes, it should be okay.
Remember that your eyes are muscles, even though they do act differently than your other muscles. They do get overworked and underworked. If you have to stare at something for a long time, take breaks often.

im 13...
i started wearing glasses like 4 years ago..
during those years my eyes sight werent as bad as it is now..
i ONLY wore it when i had to see the chalkboard bc i hated other ppl looking at me.. or thinking of me of a image in my glasses i looked much better without themm anywayss..
i kept doing this bc mai doctor said this was very good for your eyes.. !!1 i was like wow rrly
welllllllllllll... after lke a year later my eye site got worse (depends on how much u grow) i went to another doctor and he said i must wea r my glasses all the time.. or i'll screw up my vision badly..
sooooooooooo .. i dont kno y i told u this but my advice would be.. if your eyes arent that bad go ahead and wear them time to time..
but as your eyesite worsen.. by then you will need to chnge your glasses .. this time pick one you wont regret on~~~~ try them on a couple of times and look at your reflectio in the mirror and ask for other ppl's opinions and THEN purchase it.
wowwowowo i wrote long byebye.

No, your vision can get worse because you are straining your eyes to see without your glasses.

your eyes will worsen if you do not wear the corrected lenses. if the glasses are cute and trendy,,,enjoy it. it shows you have style and are not into baby glasses... if they are too big, replace them.

talk to a parent.i know this sounds lame, but seriously, ask them for contacts. this way, you'll look your age, and you don't worry about not wearing them, because you'll be more comfortable.hope this helps!
