I really can stand this lady, how I can make him believe that I dont care about her? She likes to be on my way.

Kill her with kindness.
It'll throw her off kilter if she truly is as terrible as you intimate. It'll score points with your husband, and you can take a little pleasure in totally messing her whole "be a b-tch to the new wife" thing.
You have to be consistent though, if you lapse, it'll be ruined forever. Be warned that she'll try to push all your buttons at first to regain control, but after those prove fruitless for a while, she'll have to at least tone it down for a while.

Stop pretending. Just be your pleasant self no more no less.
Eventually in life when all honesty prevails and ourselves are trusted to act on our behalf we will end with "Just Friends" that we can trust and love.
Who needs the rest of the idiots hanging around.
Keep your friends close but your enemies closer? WHY?
How about we just keep the enemies far away and pay no attention to them, eventually they will go away after a hint or two.

If hubby has kids with her, you have to cool it and allow them to communicate. No 'Special" meetings. Thats not usually a problem, more often the sex had stopped a long time ago and not about to happen.

I doubt you'll ever be able to convince him until you learn to tolerate her. He had a life before you came along, either you accept that fact or it could affect your marriage.
