How far does game sharing reach on the psp?

I have heard anywhere from 30 feet to 300 feet. I think it depends on other possible interference such as walls and eletronics. So in a feild with no trees you might get up to 300 feet. In a forest maybe less because of the trees. And in a neighborhood maybe less because of walls, tvs, cordless phones, etc...
