What you want to do depends on where he was hit. If it was in the area behind the vent, he should be okay (although maybe with a kinked tail). If it was in front of the vent, how far in front? If it was near the vent and the snake appears and behaves as before the accident, just observe for a few day. If the injury was to the front 1/2 of the body, or if there is abnormal appearance or behavior, get it to a reptile vet.
Reason: a snake's "rib cage" runs the length of the body to vent. Some snake species have a single lung that runs about to the midpoint or so of their bodies (some have a second or third lung). If yours has only one lung (find out by Googling your snake's species and the words "lung" or "internal anatomy"), it could have been punctured by a broken rib. Also contact a vet if there is blood at the nostrils or vent, or if it is not able to move normally.
Here's a site where you can find reptile vets (by state):

Hope all works out okay!

Okay i need to know what type of injury it is. If it is a open wound or a bruze. If its an open wound then get a pressure bandage and wrap it tightly around the snake and apply pressure. Make sure that the animal remains calm and if its not then keep an eye on it because the 1st 24 hours are the most important if the animal is in shock. If its a bruze then get a ice pack and wrap it in a towel a few times , make sure that not too much cold is coming through. Apply the ice for 20 minutes or so and then put the snake in its home with the lamp over it to keep it warm. If you are worried then take the snake to the vet!
