No he is still great with football. He is just letting some emotion out that he has been feeling for years and never did anything. Build up and then blow out.

If Belechick was burnt out, then every coach would b burnt out. Without a doubt, Belechick is the best coach 2day. He gets emotionally, which is a great trait 4 any coach. Unlike Parcells, he still enjoys wins. Plus, no opponent knows whats goin on inside his head which gives him a huge advantage. When the Patriots start losin 10 games a season, I will admit that Belechick is burnt out but until then he is a great coach.

It's an act. When he was just a little bit cold, he liked the tough-guy rep he developed, and he's been trying to see how far it will take him before he crosses the line. Unfortunately, he crossed the line without realizing it, and he'll go on doing the same crap until a PR guy gets the balls to tell him to take it down a notch.

He is a coach, not a diplomat. his job is to make his team win and when they lose he is disappointed and not too talkative. he pours his heart and soul into the team for 11 months a year and is in the zone on game day. u have to pardon some of his indiscretions

From the book by David Halberstam I'd say no. He is doing what he likes.

I'd bet when he retires he coaches his grandkids in Pop Warner.:)

Seriously though, he is intensely private and we'll never know until he resigns.

Yes. He is a failure of a coach. What kind of coach can't even take his team to the Super Bowl?
