Hmmm....I think I know where you're coming from on this. It's not what he says, but how he says it. It makes me squicky as well because he's a sound-byte just waiting to happen. I wish there were some way to just will fluidity into his public speaking.

When Harry S. ("Give 'Em Hell Harry) Truman was President, he once quipped, "I don't give them hell. I just tell them the truth, and they think it's hell".

Bush is counting on the maturity of the American public to hear the truth. He doesn't pander with a whining, self-serving message, carefully worded to appeal to the Liberals who live in some dream world where we can play nice with the terrorists so they'll leave us alone.

So, until Bush decides to sugar coat the truth, maybe you should just take a Rolaid.

It is because he tells us that he isn't going to stop war and death and dieing and killing and putting us in harms way. The other countries are making a build up of the arms race and would like to nuke us. You can see that coming and any sane person would be afraid.

You've just been hypnotized by the Liberal Left. Don't hate someone you don't know personally. That's just falling for the game.
